Casting and Recycling - 3 Day Course

Location - Home workshop in Fareham

Total Cost £280 for 3 days.

In a small group of up to 3, learn a range of casting skills to create your own rings and pendants. Melt down your old gold and silver jewellery to create a collection using your cast pieces. You don’t need to have any experience to join this course, it is great for absolute beginners and those wanting to brush up on old skills. Use your old jewellery or purchase silver scrap for your casting.

£20 worth of Silver

Wax for carving, clay for casting, silver findings, wire and chain to create your finished pieces.

Course Outline

Day 1 - Learn to carve your own rings and pendants from wax which can be cast. Experiment with textures, surface design, shape and form.

Day 2 - Create a cast of your wax pieces using Delft clay casting technique. Melt and recycle silver scrap to create organic shapes with water casting.

Day 3 - Refine your cast pieces and transform them into your own collection of Rings, Pendants, Earrings and Charms.

T&Cs

The price includes £20 worth of silver. Any additional silver you may choose for your project can be purchased in class at £2.50 per gram. An estimated £30 worth of silver will cover 2 rings and a pendant.

Snacks and refreshments included. There are strictly no discounts or refunds if you miss a class for any reason, please be sure you can attend all 3 classes before booking your space.

A non-refundable £50 deposit is required to secure your space. Once your deposit is paid, I will contact you for remaining balance via BACs. Remainder to be paid by 1st January 2026
