NEW 2 week Project!

If you’d like to book more than one of the new projects, please email me to receive 10% off your booking.

Setting stones is always very popular, as choosing a stone is a very exciting and personal process. You can bring along your own stone, or choose from my collection.
I will teach you how to make a prong setting to protect your stone and show it off by allowing both the front and back to be admired. This is a slightly more advanced class, so it is advised you have been to one of my classes or similar, so you can come prepared with the basic skills and make the most of the class.

Prong Setting for a cabochon stone, will teach you how to use various wires to design and make a back plate for your cabochon stone. Then going on to make and arrange prongs which will securely hold your stone in place, soldering each prong securely and shaping before setting your stone. You will have a choice of large cabochon stones (Or you can supply your own - Around 1.5cm-3cm size) and 1.2mm silver wire for this project.

Materials are included in the price but if you’d like to purchase more, this can be arranged.

Tea, Coffee and biscuits are provided.

All classes are an absolute maximum of 6 students, so there is lots of one-to-one support.

Ages 16+ only for group classes.

Please note payments are non-refundable but can be transferred to a different class, if given at least 5 days notice prior to your booked class. If only one student is booked in for the class, it will be re-scheduled and I will give you notice of this. By making payment you agree to the above T&Cs and your space is booked in.
