NEW 2 week Project!

If you’d like to book more than one of the new projects, please email me to receive 10% off your booking.

Keum Boo is a class I get asked about a lot and one I have been wanting to teach for a while. So here is a project over 2 evenings for you..

Keum Boo is the Korean technique of adding gold accents to your pieces using 24ct gold leaf. First of all you will explore different textures using a range of materials, texture plates and rolling mill techniques to design your chosen piece of jewellery. You will then be shown the process of depleting silver before fusing gold leaf to create a permanent bond to your silver jewellery.

This will include a 2x3cm piece of silver sheet and approx 1cm x 3cm piece of 24ct gold leaf. Ideal for making a pair of earrings or pendant.

Materials are included in the price but if you’d like to purchase more, this can be arranged.

Tea, Coffee and biscuits are provided.

All classes are an absolute maximum of 6 students, so there is lots of one-to-one support.

Ages 16+ only for group classes.

Please note payments are non-refundable but can be transferred to a different class, if given at least 5 days notice prior to your booked class. If only one student is booked in for the class, it will be re-scheduled and I will give you notice of this. By making payment you agree to the above T&Cs and your space is booked in.
